i started my business in 2020, essentially on a mission to doodle and sew for a living - honestly i never actually expected it to get this far! that was five years ago though, and so much has changed since then...

over the last five years peculiar pluto has grown alongside me, what started as a lockdown passion project with masks and a couple of stickers, is now a dreamscape of silly doodles, journalling supplies & inspiration, sustainably minded textile works, and a safe space for customers and small businesses alike. i'm so proud of what my small business has become, and of the incredible queer / disabled / creative community that i found alongside.

outside of business life...
i'm a disabled baddie, so honestly i spend most of my time in bed, but over the last couple of years i have absolutely fallen in love with junk journalling and creating spreadsheets for almost anything you can imagine. i have 6 incredible housemates to keep me company during flare ups, and on days where i have a little extra energy i love nothing more than taking my ipad down to the beach or to a local cafe to sit and doodle with my headphones in.
if you couldn't tell from the many many themed products, i'm fully obsessed with frogs - i even have three of my own. kiwi & mayo (my dumpy frogs) are definitely my main muses, along with norbert the toad and my anxious dachshund ravioli.
what's next ??
i've been busy working behind the scenes on some super exciting projects that i can't wait to share with you! i'm hoping to launch a journalling snail mail club by the end of the year (full of stickers and supplies, maybe even a mini print too), and i've been working on my website to create a hub full of tips and supplies for my fellow small business' - a members only area to purchase my products wholesale, or even have printedproducts made by me with your designs for your business - updates @peculiarpluto on insta :)
the ultimate goal is a shop of my own, with lilac walls and frogs everywhere - but until then i'm having so much fun!
